What are Choice Boards?
Choice boards provide product options for students to readily match their learning strengths and interest. When students have options of how they will show what they know, they take on a sense of ownership in their learning. This freedom encourages them to be more responsible, accountable and independent.

When developing or finding a choice board, teachers should look at the intent of the final learning outcome or standard. A choice board allows for differentiation with all students regarding their content knowledge and interests. The tasks included in a choice board should strategically address different aspects of rigor--procedural skill and fluency, conceptual understanding, and application.
